CONTEMPLATION
How lucky am I to sit at the beach
Looking out at the sea, having been able to
teach.
I’m now so retired, getting paid for this rest
God saved for the end, His very, very, very best.
So much water on the earth, so blest to contain
An abundance of
miracles on every terrain.
And each of us I’s, can see out in space
Billions of light-years,
what a miraculous place.
We strive to understand, the mysteries out there,
And fail to see, the
miracle at hand.
When God wanted to speak , to us poor blind mice
He said just one Word;
“INSIDE would be nice.”
